Training and testing only

Beyond the Login is an independent educational project based in Arizona, United States. These terms apply to its educational content and any training tools we make available. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Beyond the Login is a training and testing tool. It is not designed or offered as an identity service for enterprise environments or production applications. You may use it to learn skills for your work, but must not depend on it to authenticate real customers or employees, protect business resources, or support critical operations.

Examples may simplify real systems to explain a concept. They are not a substitute for a security review, implementation testing, or professional advice before applying an approach in production.

Use the playground responsibly

Use only synthetic data and credentials created specifically for exercises in lab environments. Do not upload real customer or employee records, production passwords, private keys, access tokens, or other confidential information. Keep any credentials for your own Beyond the Login account private and separate from credentials used in exercises.

Test only within environments and activities explicitly made available to you. A training exercise is not permission to attack the website, another person's tenant, or an external system. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service, distribute malware, or use it for fraud or other unlawful activity. We may restrict access to protect the service and its users or address violations of these terms.

Availability and experimental features

Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed. Training environments and their data may be reset or deleted. Do not use the service as a backup or the only place you keep information you need. We do not promise uptime, permanent storage, support response times, or compatibility with other systems.

Content and responsibility

You may use our lessons and examples for personal learning and internal training. This does not transfer ownership of our content or permit you to sell or republish it as your own. Separate licenses, where provided, govern the materials they accompany. Other organizations' names and standards do not imply their endorsement of this project.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and its content are provided as available, without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or suitability for a particular purpose. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the service, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Privacy, updates, and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes and will revise the date on this page. Material changes will be called out in the changelog.
